Karen’s speaking engagements have taken her to Iceland, The Netherlands, Italy, Thailand and Canada as well as throughout the United States. She also has traveled to Washington DC twice to testify before a US Congressional Subcommittee.
Karen’s background as a Life Coach includes in-person training from the Coaches Training Institute, one of the most highly regarded schools in the field. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California, and a Master of Arts Degree in Public Policy at The Claremont Graduate University in Claremont, California. She studied improvisational comedy at "Improv Olympic," recently trained and performed on Mainstage at "The Second City", and is a three-time game show winner. She has lived in Chicago, California and Germany, and counts music, improvisational dance, her cats, and traveling among her greatest joys in life.
