Tips For Employee Productivity

Employees can complain--as long as they offer a solution.

History is not destiny. Changes can occur even in seemingly stagnant environments.

Conduct an innovation audit: review strengths and weaknesses in innovation.

Recover a state of "beginner's mind". Opening up to the possibility of other options allows for the infusion of new energy.

Don’t judge emerging ideas.

Apply 'but' economics. The word ‘but’ negates what came before it in a sentence. To encourage innovative thinking, significantly reduce use of the word ‘but’.

Try something new: change a pattern, infuse humor, improvise.

Set partial-limits. An effectively powerful leader incorporates respect for others and for oneself.
